Age Concern Mole Valley has been caring and supporting vulnerable and isolated older people throughout the district for over 80 years.
Therefore, it is with immense regret that we start 2026 with the very sad news that Age Concern Mole Valley will commence a wind down process in January 2026.
Fundraising – we have worked continually for many years and specifically in 2024 to the end of 2025 to try and save the charity. Last year was one of the most competitive fundraising years that we have faced, and the future will be a challenge for many UK charities. Unfortunately, there are less grant making Trusts/Foundations that support older peoples’ charities, which has meant our situation is no longer viable to meet all the charity’s increasing financial requirements. It has been a privilege of Age Concern Mole Valley to support older people for over 80 years, ‘Improving their Lives’. With the support of our volunteers we have continually fulfilled our vision and we are saddened that this will not continue.
